Man lives on tree to avoid wife What would you do if your wife has been fighting with you constantly? A man named Ram Pravesh from Uttar Pradesh took things to the next level. He found a tree of his choice and started living on it. The 42-year-old from UP’s Mau district had a quarrel with his wife so he decided to handle the situation like a pro. He made a 100-foot-tall palm tree his home for a month. His family members, of course, took the responsibility of providing him with food and other supplies using rope. But the villagers, especially women, aren't happy with Ram Pravesh’s decision. They complain of their privacy being compromised. And when villagers persuade him to climb down, he attacks them with bricks and shoos them away. Villagers also say that Ram climbs down the tree late at night and climbs back after he is done with his daily activities. The local police have been informed. They reached the location and also recorded a video of the situation. They say that action will soon be taken. There’s a little twist in the story, by the way. Contrary to Ram Pravesh’s father’s claims, the village head says that Ram is living on the tree because he had a quarrel with his father, not wife. So, the next time you have a fight with your wife or father, think like Ram Pravesh. UP lineman cuts power of police station If you are wondering how much ‘power’ an electricity lineman can have, prepare to be surprised… A lineman can throw an entire police station into the dark. Yes, this episode of the electrician's revenge played out in UP’s Shamli district. Angry over police issuing him a challan of 6000 rupees for not wearing a helmet, a lineman in Shamli cut the electricity of an entire police station, Thanabhawan. The video went viral and the lineman is heard complaining that he earns only 5000 rupees a month so how can he pay a challan of 6000 rupees. Condoms instead of ice cream Imagine desperately waiting for your food and you receiving something you weren’t even expecting! A peculiar comedy of errors apparently occurred in Coimbatore. A man had ordered ice cream on a popular food delivery app. When he finally received the order there was something else in the packet. The hungry man had been delivered a packet of condoms. The man took to Twitter to share his complaint, along with a photo of the two packets of condoms he had received through the app which also delivers groceries. “My thoughts are with the other guy who got ice cream & chips!" another Twitter user quipped in response. Fight over ‘papad’ during a wedding Weddings are known for the lehenga and makeup of the bride, and nosey, unhappy relatives, and most importantly FOOD! In fact, many people attend weddings only to eat. A nasty fight erupted in the Alappuzha district of Kerala on August 28, 2022 when one of the guests from the groom’s side was denied a second serving of pappadams. The guest wasn’t happy at all with the rejection. Soon, punches and kicks were on the menu. The seriousness of the brawl was such that the tables, chairs, and other arrangements at the venue were heavily damaged. The owner of the venue reported damages worth Rs. 1.5 Lakh.
